Director Story

He was born in Rome in June 1994. After earning a bachelor’s degree in “history, anthropology and history of religions,” he moved to Palermo, Sicily, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in documentary filmmaking at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. His graduation essay at the Experimental Center, “Bones and Wax,” was the winner of in love with art film fest (2022). In the same years, he collaborated in the production of Asiatica Film Festival in Rome, mainly in the role of programmer.

In 2022, he collaborated with theater director Simone Mannino on the filming of the play “Prometheus.” In the same year, he participated in the artistic residency “Caucasus Cinema.”

He won the Zavattini Award, which allowed him to make the film “A Partial but Whole Breath,” winner of the Turin film festival in the Short Film category (Spazio Italia). In 2023, he worked as an editor for a live performance with archival materials, a project related to the audiovisual archive of the labor and democratic movement (AAMOD).
