In previous incarnations Daniel Paul Bilenko played basketball in the United States, worked as a shepherd on a small Alpine farm and did a lot of theatre. For the past 20 years he has worked as a presenter and journalist with the Italian-speaking Swiss Radio & Television and is a free-lance author. Some of his stories have obtained national and international recognition. He is the happy father of three.
