FICG CALL FOR ENTRIES<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Guadalajara Film Festival (FICG) calls for producers and filmmakers from Mexico, Ibero-America, and other regions of the world to submit their films to the new edition of the festival.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the official sections in the competition, films finalised in the two years precedeng the start of the new festival edition will only be considered.<\/span><\/p>\n

The awards are<\/strong>\u2022Mezcal Award to the best Mexican film: Mayahuel Award and 500,000 Mexican <\/span>pesos, granted to the majoritarian producing company.<\/span>\u2022 <\/span>Audience Award: Mayahuel Award and 100,000 Mexican pesos, granted to the di-<\/span>rector.<\/span>\u2022 <\/span>Best Direction: Mayahuel Award. <\/span>\u2022 <\/span>Best Cinematography: Mayahuel Award. <\/span>\u2022 <\/span>Best Actress: Mayahuel Award.<\/span>\u2022 <\/span>Best Actor: Mayahuel Award.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ibero-American fiction feature films that have their Mexican Premiere during FICG will be considered for the call for entries.The minimum length to participate is 60 minutes, credit roll included. The awards are<\/strong>:\u2022 Best Ibero-American Fiction Feature film: Mayahuel Award and 500,000 Mexican pesos, granted to the majoritarian producing company.\u2022 Best First Film: Mayahuel Award.\u2022 Best Direction: Mayahuel Award. \u2022 Best Screenplay: Mayahuel Award.\u2022 Best Cinematography: Mayahuel Award. \u2022 Best Actress: Mayahuel Award.\u2022 Best Actor: Mayahuel Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

The awards are<\/strong>:\u2022 Best Ibero-American Fiction Feature film: Mayahuel Award and 200,000 Mexican pesos, granted to the majoritarian producing company.\u2022 Best Direction: Mayahuel Award.\u2022 Best Cinematography: Mayahuel Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ibero-American Short Film<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ibero-American short films that have their Mexican Premiere during FICG will be consi-dered for the call for entries.The maximum length to participate\"\" is 30 minutes, credit roll included. The awards are<\/strong>:\u2022 Best Ibero-American short film: Mayahuel Award and 75,000 Mexican pesos, gran-ted to the director.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maguey Award<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

International fiction and documentary feature films addressing Queer issues related to the LGBTQ+ comunity that have their Mexican Premiere during FICG will be considered for the call for entries.The minimum length to participate is 60 minutes, credit roll included. Films from the Mezcal Award, Ibero-American Fiction Feature Film, Ibero-American Docu-mentary Feature Film, and International Animation feature film can be considered for this section.The award is:\u2022 Best Maguey Film: Maguey \u201cEMME\u201d Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

International Animation Feature Film<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

International Animation feature films that have their Mexican Premiere during FICG will be considered for the call for entries.The minimum length to participate is 60 minutes, credit roll included. The award is<\/strong>:\u2022 Best Animation Feature Film: Mayahuel Award and 500,000 Mexican pesos, gran-ted to the majoritarian producing company.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rigo Mora International Animation Short Film<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

International animation short films that have their Mexican Premiere during FICG will be considered for the call for entries.The maximum length to participate is 30 minutes, credit roll included. The award is<\/strong>:\u2022 Best Animated Short Film: Rigo Mora Award and 200,000 Mexican pesos, granted to the director.<\/span><\/p>\n

Made in Jalisco<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mexican fiction and documentary feature films made in Jalisco that have their Mexican Premiere during FICG will be considered for the call for entries.The minimum length to participate is 60 minutes, credit roll included. The award is<\/strong>:\u2022 Best Film Made in Jalisco: Mayahuel Award.<\/span><\/p>\n
