Le festival projette environ 250 longs m\u00e9trages et plus de 300 courts m\u00e9trages et animations, attirant annuellement 80 000 spectateurs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Depuis 2014, le festival d\u00e9tient l’accr\u00e9ditation FIAPF pour la tenue d’un programme de comp\u00e9tition internationale, ce qui place le festival dans la cat\u00e9gorie A des festivals de cin\u00e9ma, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de 14 autres festivals dans le monde.

Un Loup de P\u00d6FF est un animal de meute qui sait qu’il ira plus loin en travaillant avec les autres. Sans vous, notre public de cin\u00e9ma et nos soutiens, ce festival de cin\u00e9ma, largement assembl\u00e9 sur une pure passion en 1997, ne serait pas ce qu’il est aujourd’hui. Chaque ann\u00e9e, P\u00d6FF est maintenu en mouvement constant par une merveilleuse collaboration o\u00f9 le public et les films sont li\u00e9s par des volontaires, plus de 300 \u00e0 ce jour. Ensemble dans notre petit Estonie, nous avons r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 remplir les nuits noires de novembre de lumi\u00e8res bor\u00e9ales uniques qui se manifestent comme des exp\u00e9riences cin\u00e9matographiques lumineuses sur les \u00e9crans de cin\u00e9ma et attirent des cin\u00e9astes de diff\u00e9rents coins du monde pour tout partager avec nous.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les lieux de rassemblement des Loups de P\u00d6FF dans les cin\u00e9mas estoniens restent les m\u00eames, mais les routes sont diff\u00e9rentes chaque ann\u00e9e. Outre la d\u00e9termination et le courage, les conditions pr\u00e9alables \u00e0 la croissance de P\u00d6FF comprennent la volont\u00e9 et le d\u00e9sir de voir au-del\u00e0 de l’horizon afin d’\u00e9largir constamment notre vision du monde. Ainsi, le programme de P\u00d6FF d\u00e9passe toujours sa zone de confort. Les Loups de P\u00d6FF n’ont pas peur de nouveaux espaces culturels, de questions br\u00fblantes et d’\u00e9motions qui nous font rire, nous \u00e9tonnent et nous bougent dans leur authenticit\u00e9 vivifiante.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Festival du Film des Nuits Noires (en estonien P\u00d6FF – Pimedate \u00d6\u00f6de Filmifestival) vise \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter une s\u00e9lection compl\u00e8te de cin\u00e9ma mondial au public estonien, balte et nord-europ\u00e9en.<\/span>

Le Festival est reconnu par la FIAPF (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale des Associations de Producteurs de Films) et depuis 2014, il est accr\u00e9dit\u00e9 pour organiser une comp\u00e9tition internationale de longs m\u00e9trages non sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de 15 autres festivals de cin\u00e9ma dans le monde (dont Berlin, Cannes, Karlovy Vary, Moscou, Venise, San Sebastian, Varsovie, Tokyo et d’autres).<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Festival du Film des Nuits Noires propose \u00e9galement des sections comp\u00e9titives sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es, des sections non comp\u00e9titives, ainsi que des sous-festivals pour les films pour la jeunesse, les courts m\u00e9trages et les animations.
\nLe Festival est organis\u00e9 par l’organisation \u00e0 but non lucratif MT\u00dc Pimedate \u00d6\u00f6de Filmifestival (en anglais, ONG Festival du Film des Nuits Noires).<\/span><\/p>\n

Official Selection \u2013 Competition<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Official Selection \u2013 Competition is an international non-specialised competition presenting feature-length (60 minutes and over) films from around the world completed after the 15th of September 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

Priority will be given to films with a World or International Premiere. The minimum premiere requirement is a European Regional Premiere. European films and co-produced films presented in their country of origin remain eligible.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Festival will not accept films in the Official Selection \u2013 Competition that has been in competition at another festival accredited by FIAPF as a Competitive Feature Film Festival. The Festival reserves the right to evaluate eligible films for the competition on a case by case basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

A film in this competition is eligible for a maximum of two awards (including Grand Prix) within the competition. The Grand Prix and Best Director award and the grant cannot be given to the same film.<\/span><\/p>\n

First Feature Competition<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The First Feature Competition is an international competition for debut films. The competition presents feature-length debut (60 minutes and over, first-time feature film directing status) films from around the world completed after 15th of September 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

Priority will be given to films with a World or International Premiere. The minimum premiere requirement is a European Regional Premiere. European films and co-produced films presented in their country of origin remain eligible.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Festival will not accept films in the First Feature Competition that have been in competition at another festival accredited by FIAPF as a Competitive Feature Film Festival. The festival reserves the right to evaluate eligible films for competition on a case by case basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

B<\/strong>altic Film Competition<\/strong><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Baltic Film Competition presents feature (documentaries and animation included) length (60 minutes and over) films from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or with significant participation from one of these countries completed after 15th of September 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

Priority will be given to films with a World or International premiere, but films which have previously premiered in Estonia are also eligible. The participation of the film in any other competition of the Festival does not exclude the eligibility for Baltic Film Competition. The festival reserves the right to evaluate eligible films for the competition on a case by case basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rebels with a Cause Competition\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Rebels with a Cause Competition programme showcases the untraditional means of expression of filmmaking, as well as innovative narrative or dramaturgy, symbiosis with other forms of art and new takes on technical solutions or in aesthetics. The Competition incorporates both a full feature and a short film section. The films must be completed after the 15th of September 2021. The minimum premiere requirement is a European Premiere.
\nPriority will be given to films with a World, International or European premieres. The festival reserves the right to evaluate eligible films for the competition on a case by case basis.\"\"<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Non-competitive programme<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Films submitted for the non-competitive programme, or not selected for competitions, can be invited to other sections with a minimum requirement being their Estonian Premiere. There is no geographic restriction for films in non-competitive sections. The films must be completed after the 15th of September 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n
